De 8 stupaer (English below)
Historiske Swayambhunath har inspireret til at etablere fredsstien, som er ca 700 meter lang, og giver sunde gåture dyb mening. Dupseng Rinpoche velsignede fredsstien i sommeren 2020 og udpegede, hvor de 8 stupaer, som er inspirationskilde til Buddha Sakyamunis liv, skulle placeres.

Stupaerne bliver lavet ca 1 meter høje i kobber. Vi har fundet frem til en af Lopon Tsechu Rinpoches mangeårige leverandører, i Patan i Nepal, som har erfaringen med at lave denne type stupaer.

Vi er gået i gang med at bygge fundamenter til stupaerne. Første etape var at bygge op til ca. 10 cm over jorden, og det arbejde færdiggjorde vi i pinseweekenden. Det næste bliver at bygge op til ca 1,20 meters højde. Herpå skal stupaerne placeres.

Fylding og indvielse af stupaerne
Vi vil, på et senere tidspunkt, invitere en lama til at vejlede og sikre fremgangsmåden med det der fyldes i stupaerne; fx mantraruller og Buddhafigurer.
Planen er, at Dupseng Rinpoche fylder og indvier stupaerne i sommeren 2024, hvor der i øvrigt er 20 års jubilæum for vores oplysnings-stupa.

The 8 stupas
The historic Swayambunath has been the inspiration for the 700 meter long peace path at the center. Dupseng Rinpoche blessed the peace path when he was here in 2020, and he pointed out where to place the 8 stupas.

The stupas will be made from copper, will be 1 meter tall and placed on a 1.2 meter tall fundament. One of Lopon Tsechu Rinpoche’s suppliers from Patan in Nepal, who has long experience with this handcraft, will build the stupas.

We started making the fundament for the stupas already. The first part was to build up to 10 cm above ground level, and this we did in the end of May. Then next thing will be to build up to 1,20 m above ground level.

Filling and inaguration
We will invite a lama to guide us in making the filling for the stupas; for example mantra-rolls and tsatsas (Buddha-figures).
We expect the filling and inauguration of the stupas to take place under the guidance of Dupseng Rinpoche in the summer of 2024. The 20 years anniversary of the enlightenment stupa in Vesterbølle.
